Our site operates in an environmentally sensitive location on the banks of the Stour Estuary. This area is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, a Special Protection Area for the conservation of wild birds and a Ramsar site. We strive to minimise the environmental impact of our activities at all times, and our Environmental Management System is rigorously monitored both internally and externally in compliance with ISO 14001:2004 environmental standard.
